Frame Out
Now that the engine compartment has been painted I needed to pull the frame out and salvage what is being reused. Initially I thought I needed to pull the calipers and rotors to unbolt the lower ball joint but it turns out that wasn't needed. Removing the lower ball joint with the frame allows me to leave the upper control arm in the car preserving the alignment. The steering coupler came apart in the process, not important as I'll be rebuilding it anyway. Due to the frame blocking the lower area there will need to be some touchups. | |
