It Lives
Even though I didn't have the correct power steering pulley we just left that belt off and were able to start the engine. Right away we noticed tapping sound in the valve covers so we pulled a cover and noticed that the rockers were hitting the baffle. We knocked the baffle in a little and the problem went away. With everything back together we fired it up again and let it run the prerequisite 20 minutes. Hopefully in the next few days I'll get the transmission lever and power steering pulley in, even then still have a rear end to get in and a driveshaft to make. | |
